Caused by seeds, or other foreign bodies that got stuck between the toes. If not removed in
time this can become infected and cause an abscess. Prevent by regular bathing and
trimming of the feet.
Cut away as much of the hair around the area, and soak foot in something like epson salts
water for about 5 minutes. This will help soften the area, and start the lesian draining, if it
needs to. You can then pour some Terramycin powder (this is a antibiotics powder) over
the earia, or spray with dissinfectant aerosol spray (Terramycin spray also a good choice).
Keep an eye on the wound to make sure it drains properly, and re-aply the powder/spray
often, until heeled.
